December has arrived

Hi Qtees :) We hope everyone had a great weekend and is ready to kick off the new week with high spirits! Seoul is outrageously cold these days (reaching -8 at night). But as a person who loves winter, I’m thoroughly enjoying every bit of it ❄️

Surprisingly, we had a very slow and chill weekend. I had a long hot bath first thing in the morning, made a hot cup of coffee for myself and enjoyed Netflix while doing my morning skincare routine, and listened to LP music while watering the plants and deciding what to wear for the day. It’s a moment like this (no matter how mundane or dull) that makes life so much more appreciative. I’ve realized how much I missed this type of morning! What is your ideal type of morning Qtees?

By the way, speaking of Netflix, if you love horror and mystery genre, PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE go and watch 1899. I came across this series via a Facebook article that stated that people were demanding (literally demanding) for season 2 because it’s THAT GOOD! With curiosity, we gave it a chance, and now we’re absolutely hooked! I don’t want to spoil anything here, but all I can say is that this is, no doubt, has to be one of the best series we’ve watched on Netflix this year.

Last week we went to the Dior Beauty event. When every time we go to these types of events, we’re amazed by how beautifully the event is presented. I can’t imagine the amount of time and effort that had to be devoted to creating such an amazing space. It also shows how one’s experience with a brand is as much as important as the performance of the product. I still remember one of our professors’ sayings during our college years: “You’re not selling products; you’re selling experience!”

As a candle lover, naturally, I immediately walked towards the candle aisle first haha. Everything smelled stunning! And can you believe the size of that candle? I think you can burn that candle for a year, and it’ll still last!

On Sunday, we went for another Reels shooting. It’s always exciting to create content, but we were exceptionally excited to shoot this Reels as it was ‘fashion’ content! Hopefully, we can have more opportunities to shoot fashion-related content starting next year :) The final content will be live on our Instagram @Q2HAN this week! Stay tuned 🤍

That’s Qjin celebrating the end of long hours of filming. It was so painful to film at this studio because the studio was extremely cold! Even though we turned on two heaters (each at 30 C), because the entire studio is built in concrete, it doesn’t seem to trap the warm air. Nevertheless, we loved the space! It was simple and chic: exactly what we were looking for.

Flaunting the new kick that I recently got from Farfetch 👟 We have a Farfetch discount code (Q2HANDEC) that is valid until the end of this month, so please feel free to use the code Qtees :)

*Just a quick disclaimer, we do not get anything from the discount! It’s purely for you, Qtees :)

As we were leaving the studio after the shoot, we saw this cute cafe right next to the studio. I think the cafe is run by those two cute couples who were very friendly. We loved the way how the cafe was decorated! It was full of Christmas spirit! Loved the warm wood tone and the way the light enters the space and hits the floor.

We got chocolate drink in ice 🧊 Yup! Ice, not hot haha After a long day, this was a perfect sweet treat 🍫

I just had to take a photo of this because it was so cute <3 Each table has a pencil and a pencil sharpener with a little memo paper for the customers to doodle while drinking their drinks. I love finding this type of detail in a cafe. You can really see how much thought the owners have put into it when filling up this space. We had such a nice relaxing afternoon in this cafe :)

Hope you Qtees enjoyed this short diary of mine. Christmas is just around the corner, and hope you Qtees are preparing well for the big holiday :) We’ll see you again here next week! Love you Qtees 🌹
