Behind the Scenes

Hi Qtees šŸ¤ We hope all of you Qtees are doing great and ready for May! April has definitely been a hectic month for us (once again haha). The other day, we met a friend whom we werenā€™t able to see each other for a while. Through our conversation it made us realize that a lot of the times, what we see on social media is not everything that we actually see. In fact, itā€™s only a fraction of what is really going on. She/he might look happy in the photo, but maybe she/he wasnā€™t feeling her/his best that day. She/he might look like is having fun in the photo but actually is very stressed out trying to get the right shot (which is mostly the case for us šŸ˜). We cry out of stress and sometimes get upset because the process or the outcome is not as we expected. There are so many unseen layers behind the final photos, reels, and Youtube videos that we create. We always try to show the BEST and POSITIVE side/content to our Qtees. But, would you Qtees be interested in seeing the raw behind-the-scenes of whatā€™s really going on?

Anywho, sorry for the random rant Qtees haha Now letā€™s continue with todayā€™s blog, shall we? Today, I want to share some candid photos that we took during our recent trip to Paris šŸ‡«šŸ‡· I still canā€™t believe we just came back from Paris. And to be honest, our heart is still in Paris šŸ¤

We stayed at this beautiful hotel called Hotel Alfred Sommier which was absolutely breathtaking. The moment we entered our room, we thought we had entered to a past where the time had frozen. We simply could not stop ourselves from gasping with awe. The details on the wall, the door handle, the frame of the mirror, the curtains: everything seems to be carrying and whispering past and history.

In the morning, we ordered tea (English Breakfast Tea & Earl Gray Tea) and a few croissants. I must say, croissants taste 1000 times better when in France šŸ¤¤ I donā€™t know if itā€™s the texture or the butter, but they always taste better compared to the ones in Korea. What is the secret?

I just couldnā€™t help but take a shot of this beautiful view from the plane.

One thing Iā€™ve realized as I was searching for cafes is that all the cafes in Pairs open very early in the morning: 7:30 am!!! Cafe Carette was a cafe that we wanted to visit during our very first trip to Paris last year. But due to a limited time, we couldnā€™t visit this cafe. So this time, we were fully prepared to wake up early in the morning, and I believe we arrived at the cafe roughly around 8:45 am. (So proud of ourselves)

We ordered their famous Le Chocolate Chaud with cream and, again, croissant (You can never have enough croissants šŸ„). Drinking a warm cup of hot chocolate with a fresh morning breeze under the nose at a beautiful cafe is just what we need after a long flight. As Iā€™m writing this blog, Iā€™m trying to leave back the memories šŸ„¹ Hope Mama QQ and Papa QQ were there with us šŸ¤

Well, thatā€™s it for todayā€™s blog :) We still have so many photos from Paris to share with you Qtees so please stay tuned! Hope you Qtees have a wonderful start to the new week and see you again soon. Love you šŸ„°

xoxo,

Qwon & Qjin
