Out of Comfort Zone

Hi Qtees :) We hope you all had a relaxing and chill weekend. We know that this place is updated weekly, but we decided to synchronize the uploading date between our blog and YouTube. Hence, you’ll be able to find new posts here whenever we upload a new video on our Youtube. (Let’s see how long we can commit to this statement haha) We’ve read all of your comments on our last blog posts! Thank you so much for your kind and encouraging words. They truly mean the world to us, and it has become a fueling source of energy and inspiration for us to keep up this momentum. Knowing that our Qtees find comfort and enjoyment through our mediocre posts makes us feel overly warm in our hearts.

We just wanted to share a few comments that truly made our day. You’re absolutely right Diana! This place is for surely a safe hideout and a place of share where all of our Qtees are welcomed. And same for us too Mei! Writing in this blog and sharing our thoughts with you feels like we’re besties hanging out together :)

This was a beautiful day in October. The weather was somewhat in between the end of spring and the beginning of fall; thus, the weather was undoubtedly perfect. If you Qtees ever get a chance to visit Korea and appreciate spending time in an aesthetic cafe, Seoul Forest is one of the places you must visit. And that’s Qjin trying to get that ‘aesthetic’ shots for our Qtees :)

This was the entrance of a cafe called “Texture Seongsu,” which we originally planned to visit but unfortunately was closed. Here’s a heads up! A lot of the cafes in Seoul Forest are closed on Monday. And it’s incredibly crowded during the weekend. Therefore, we highly recommend visiting cafes in Seoul Forest during the weekdays. (Lesson learned in a hard way) Texture Seongsu is known for its beautiful panorama view of the Seoul Forest and its breathtaking space design and furniture. In case you Qtees want to visit this place, I’ll leave the address down below:

Fun fact! This was our first time riding a public bus since we came to Korea roughly five years ago. Unlike the subway, the public bus is a bit confusing to ride. Where do you take the bus? Is it the bus stop located across the street? When do you press the stop button? H…help…? But, oh man: the experience was amazing. It was early in the morning; thus, there were only a handful of people inside the bus, and the warm autumn sun was gazing through the bus window, and all you could hear was the bus motor sound and Christmas song through the radio. Although it was a very short ride, we thoroughly enjoyed that ride.

Oh, and here we are taking selfies to commemorate this glorious day, haha. We had to rush out of bed to take care of an important errand this day. I don’t think we even washed our faces on that morning when we came out of the house. And obviously, we didn’t even fix our hair. But the hat will do the trick :)

We’re guessing many of our Qtees visited our blog today after watching our latest “ABG Transformation” video that we created with our dear friend Chaiwon. We met Chaiwon through work several years ago, and we have become good friends ever since! Her laugh is contagious, and we love the positive vibe she brings out to others. Whenever we spend time with her, it’s a burst of endless laughter and good times. We’re so grateful to call her our friend. AND she creates some of the most breathtaking makeup looks. She’s truly gifted with magical hands. If you Qtees want to see how Chaiwon transformed me, here is the link to the video:

Now, let’s talk about these nails. When we purchased these at Coupang, we weren’t expecting something great. However, they ended up being drop-dead GORGEOUS! But we’re still puzzled to this day: how do you wash after number 2 with these nails? If you Qtees know the answer, we’d greatly appreciate it if you could share it in the comment below. We’re genuinely curious.

Through creating content, we always get to try new things we’ve never tried before and simply get out of our comfort zone. At first, you feel unsure. But don’t fight against it. You just let things fall into place and trust the process. Because if it didn’t work out, at least you’ve tried!

You gotta try your luck at least once a day, because you could be going around lucky all day and not even know it

This is a photo of me taken by Chaiwon when I struggled to glue the press-on nails. Qjin described this photo as ‘Gollum playing with her precious nails…….’ (Thanks, sis. You’re awesome.) All in all, we had a good laugh here.

After roughly four hours of filming, we were all extremely famished. We decided to have dinner together at Garosugil. The fall is finally here, and it’s a shame we can enjoy these colorful leaves only for a short period. Fall is definitely one of our favorite seasons as we get to wear boots and heavy coats and play around with layering up. What’s your favorite season? By the way, I love how they look so happy here :)

We went to Saint Grill for burgers. We all had Cheeseburger with fries on the side, and Chaiwon ordered Bundaberg Ginger Beer as her drink. The bun was so soft, and the patty was so juicy, it literally melted in our mouth. I believe we ate for a good 5 minutes in silence. The food tasted better after hard work. It was also interesting how they served fries with crushed black pepper sprinkled on top. It was a very unusual combination, but we loved it!

And here is me with Chaiwon with different version of hearts….haha

The other day, we were driving passing by the Apgujeong and stumbled on this plastic surgery clinic called Popular Plastic Surgery. And we were talking to each other, “What an unusual and, quite frankly, a lazy name for a clinic?” One thing is for sure; it’s a name that you can never forget.

Here we are at Metrocity Galleria to pull out some pieces for an upcoming photoshoot. This place is like every woman’s dream closet. When we need unique pieces for photoshoots, we often loan pieces from different brands (It also makes so much sense financially.) And Metrocity Galleria is one of the brands we love wearing. Most of the pieces here are straight from the runway; thus, the pieces are a bit more explorative than the ones you can find in retails. And that’s what we love most about it! And the best part is, all the staff here at Metrocity Galleria are so sweet :)

We had a really long day on this day so sis looks a bit tired. But it was a very productive day for sure.

That’s it for today’s weekly post, and we hope you Qtees enjoyed it. The weather is going to start dropping below 10 C starting from tomorrow in Seoul, Korea. Stay warm and safe, and we’ll see you Qtees again this Sunday both at our YouTube and Blog! Love you Qtees :)
